Technology inside is a convoluted mess and a fire dance every day
Software Engineer • Current Employee
Bangkok, Thailand
July 20, 2019
Pros: Great relocation.
You learn how to use key/shiny technologies in the wrong way.
Making sense of a convoluted mess and the system's insides teach you patience.
Cons: The company is only good for the short term to add some fancy words to your resume. Don't look at it as a long-term career. The company/travel industry just wants to make a future live and let engineers suffer in tech debt.
A lot of internal conflicts between teams occur because of hasty decisions and poor architecture planning.
