The interview was generally okay. It consisted of two technical interviews followed by a culture fit interview.
Before interviewing, Agoda should openly disclose the expected salary packages for particular roles. This would avoid unexpected interview processes that end with a rejection or misalignment.
Most of their roles do not openly disclose the salary bracket, leading to a lot of wasted time for both the interviewer and interviewee, which I found particularly unfortunate.
If you are applying, expect very low salary offers for international applicants for senior roles. Agoda markets itself as world-class, but the salary offers for the Bangkok office would not work if you plan to relocate with a family.
What they refer to as "competitive" is actually very low, considering that you might also be planning to invest back home or save some of your income.
This misalignment happens because, as an applicant, you will often assume they are a big company and will remunerate you well. You proceed through the interview without much worry, but you end up disappointed.
If applying for a senior-level role, your skills might be well remunerated elsewhere unless you are willing to take a pay cut and still relocate. Otherwise, prepare yourself for a rejection after they ask for your expected salary range.
I have also seen the exact same sentiments in the comments and am surprised that the company does not want to make changes to make life easier for themselves and the candidate.
They do state that openness is one of their cultural values, but it seems they do not follow their own values at the outset, which might be a red flag.
