I've been working at Agoda for the past four years and am still learning something new every day. It's the first time I've had the opportunity to work at this scale and with the interesting problems that arise from that.
People seem to be very passionate about technology and genuinely want to understand it better, not just "kick the tires" until it works. That goes well with my own culture and beliefs.
Sometimes, it can be a bit hectic. This might be intrinsic to the online travel industry these days, but we do shift our attention quite rapidly, which can be distracting at times.
Decide what your focus is. You can't make all the people happy all the time.
