The work scope is good. The salary is good, considering Bangkok. Not all managers are energetic. They forget how to enjoy with teammates. Sometimes they are too professional rather than a team player.
Some teams have toxic environments. This happens when the majority are Thai engineers in a team. Poor onboarding. They don't maintain Confluence properly.
Make the environment lovely and smiley. Some teams are too serious about tasks that they forget about mental health. Keep the team hybrid with people from different origins.
