A lot to learn from great people
I've been working at Agoda for more than 3 years, and it's amazing to see how much this company has changed in the last few years. When I joined, my department was just a few small teams, but now it's more than 100 people.
There are great engineers from all over the world around me, and I learn a lot from them all the time. We've changed our programming language over the years; now we are adding Docker. I hear other departments are going through similar changes as well.
Not all tasks are fun. Sometimes we have periods when we just need to deliver on business KPIs, and we don't have time to innovate much.
