Pros

The tech department is big; you can move to a new team if you need something new.

Salary plus bonus is above average when compared to the local average income.

Cool benefits include a club budget, non-business travel budget, etc.

At least for my team, they accept new ideas and challenges. The work environment is good. There isn't much overtime, even though many people are starting to complain that they're facing more overtime now.

Cons
  • Company doesn't care about customers much if it doesn't impact any company's income.

  • Tech can be boring to work on sometimes. The service and architecture are too big; you often need to talk to 3-5 teams just to change one line of code.

  • Promotions aren't fully transparent. They're mostly based on a manager, which varies across teams.

  • The CTO is an AI bro.

  • The high-level leaders don't have enough diversity. It's mainly one nationality.
