Don't work at this company, please.
The working environment is characterized by constant changes in priorities, with multiple urgent tasks introduced daily. The pace is unsustainable, and deadlines are frequently unrealistic.
Salary progression is highly rigid. Pay increases are not provided within a role; promotion is the only mechanism for improvement. To be promoted, employees are expected to perform at levels well above their current role over long periods, often without recognition or a formal pathway. Evaluation criteria are inconsistent and appear influenced by internal relationships rather than merit.
A critical concern is the complete absence of employee benefits. There are no meal vouchers, no flexible compensation schemes, and no summer working hours offered. Despite being under a consulting agreement in Spain—which legally mandates certain minimum benefits, such as reduced summer hours—these are not honored. The company operates in open non-compliance, with no regard for the applicable labor regulations.
Attendance at company events is reserved for select individuals with close ties to upper management, reinforcing a culture of favoritism.
Departure from the company was ultimately necessary. The experience confirmed that long-term retention is not advisable under the current structure.
The VP of AI and Data consistently displays behavior that suggests an inflated sense of self-importance, treating others with visible condescension. There are recurring patterns of discriminatory attitudes and exclusionary practices. This creates a hostile work environment that undermines collaboration and employee well-being. Leadership should not be based on ego but on competence, respect, and fairness. Serious attention is required.
About the first interview: They ask about you. They talk about the company. They ask about your previous experience. They tell you about the positions they are looking for and tell you about what positions you could cover.
After an initial chat by phone, we appoint an interview. What was my surprise when the HR interview turned into a technical interview with no HR interviewers? It was a little awkward because the technical person didn't know how to lead the interview
Slow interview process. You meet with different stakeholders from different departments. The format was very consulting-oriented. The interview times kept changing last minute. When I met with the different interviewers, I kept getting conflicting in
