Software Engineer Interview Experience - United States

January 1, 2021
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The process began with a standard recruiter call, followed by a take-home assignment. While the assignment was estimated to take 4 hours, the expectation was to essentially build a front-end library from scratch capable of rendering a complicated chart, similar in functionality to D3. I spent approximately 8 hours on it but did not complete it. I submitted the work, but did not receive a response.
