I had been called for the interview through an employee referral. The interview was supposed to be of three rounds, but after two rounds, I was told that I could leave for the day.

I had experience in core QA, Selenium, basic Linux, and Java. However, the candidate they were looking for was for Shell scripting and Networking protocol knowledge.

I'm not sure why they called me for the interview in that case.

My first round was good, as the interviewer asked me about what I had worked on. In the second round, the interviewer had only knowledge about networking and shell scripting, which I told them I had not worked with.

They are not clear with what sort of candidates they want for their open positions.

Be prepared for lots of core networking protocol questions.
