Possibly unfair selection process. First of all, I was told an important pre-requisite was necessary, but it was missing from the JD (advanced SQL; I was rusty on it). Secondly, I was told there is not much programming and automation in the role, and yet Perl and Python were required. Excuse me, why? Even in programming roles, one language is often enough. The Linux and networking part of the role went well, with no questions on Python.
I enquired about the missing info in the JD; nobody cared to answer or to talk. Then, after one month in the already slow process, I received the classic automatic answer that I was not selected. I mean, I would expect this lack of transparency and bad communication from other companies, not from them.
