Applied through campus for Akamai India in Bangalore.

The first round had 50 questions: 20 quants and 30 technical MCQs. The 20 quant questions covered topics like trains, pipes, banker's discount, alligation or mixture, and time and distance.

They gave us the written round in the same hall. It had 4 questions and the time limit was 45 minutes.

Then the second round was a technical round.

They asked most of the questions from networks and Linux.

• Functions of switches, bridges, and routers, and the difference between each.
• Advantages of C over C++
• Questions on Linux
• Program to find prime numbers

And still more technical questions.

Also, they asked, "Why should I hire you?" and "What do you know about Akamai?"

In the written round:

Write a code for Pascal's triangle and print a pyramid pattern using stars. Write a code for a merge sort. How will you delete a heap? Draw a state diagram for ticket reservations.

In the F2F:

They asked only about networks, OS, LINUX, and DBMS.
