The interview process involved a phone screening, followed by a technical background interview. Next, there were two coding/technical interviews with senior team members, and a final technical background interview with the hiring manager.
I found that with this team, the expectations were a little high regarding rote memorization, but the coding exercises weren't terribly difficult. Some of the team members were good at asking clear and concise questions, while others (unintentionally or otherwise) asked questions that obfuscated the knowledge they were trying to verify. That may have been intentional. Either way, experience will vary depending on the team and role. The team was friendly, and HR communicated well.
Relatively common intermediate questions related to the tech stack and systems. Some architectural design questions as well.
