Pros: Learn all Akamai products, enjoy a great work culture, and maintain good work-life balance.

Cons: Nothing as such for now, going great.

Pros: Good team members are supportive and helpful.

Cons: Management and leads are very old school and micromanaging.

Pros: Pro: You can look at Glassdoor ratings and feel like you are working for a good company.

Cons: BEWARE! They have very frequent layoffs. You can lose your job anytime. What happens is they have managers who have spent more than a decade here. They hire employees and when layoffs are announced, they remove them. Hence, they are able to retain their jobs while ruining other people’s livelihoods. The tech stack is too old. You won’t learn anything. The upper management is too busy retaining these master politicians. If you have an alternate offer, take it. Oh, and the RSU is worth nothing. They cannot make bold decisions of throwing these people out and retaining actual talent.
