I was referred by an employee. The recruiter called me the next day and scheduled a phone interview. The phone interview was 30 minutes long. On the same day, the recruiter called and scheduled an on-site interview. The on-site interview had five one-on-one interviews: one with an engineering manager and four technical interviews with engineers. Within 5 days, the recruiter reached me back with an offer. I negotiated the base salary and accepted the offer. It took only 4 weeks from the first call to the first day at Akamai.
