Working in the media streaming department, I found that management has no clue what the next big thing will be. This lack of vision created a great loss for Akamai.
There is no work-life balance, at least in the media streaming department, because of management. They took many months to come up with a design, and then they wanted its implementation and verification within an almost impossible timeline.
