Very good compensation, good work atmosphere, interesting products, and very smart people. It's clear the company cares about its employees.
A lot of internal politics and petty behavior in upper management. Some micromanagement that was uncalled for and caused harm.
Let managers manage.
Stop senior managers from making waves five levels under them by trying to directly manage individual employees.
Don't assume that a manager's job is redundant without talking to him and his manager to understand what value he provides to the company.
