Great Work-Life Balance
Get to explore new tools and technologies.
WFH setup for new joiners.
Good increments (8-10%) every year.
Good office location.
Before COVID, a lot of flexibility was there. After COVID, the company is also giving flexible WFH options.
Some teams work in a service-based company style. The projects for the back office are still old style (same file and DB conversions). Projects get halted more often (like 1-2 years). Blaming is high. Managers have a bad attitude towards the team in general. I have seen managers shouting on calls for a small miss which doesn't make much impact. Micromanaging is being done by putting a daily sync call every day. Every year, upgrading the same kind of applications. Finally, it's up to your manager for promoting you.
Value the talent and culture you have. Because of COVID, people don't meet face to face anymore. Respect your people. While you pay well and offer good work-life balance, that doesn't mean people will stay with the company solely for those reasons.
