Comparing with other Chinese companies, Alibaba is not a bad choice. You will get a good package if you are experienced in your area.
You will have a faster network to "seckill" some stuff on Taobao.com.
Work overtime. It is common to work from 9 or 10 am until 9 pm or later.
If you get promoted, you will always have a much lower salary than the newly hired ones.
The food is not free. It is a little expensive and tastes bad.
Separate the management and tech leadership. Evaluate the workload reasonably. Give more freedom to your staff to refuse team-building activities.
