The future is promising, but we have some ways to go compared with other international world-leading companies
The great chance of developing, the market value of the group is leading in China. The four sub-companies (Alibaba.com, Taobao.com, Alipay.com, Alisoft, & Yahoo, Koubei.com) have a great number of users in China. The development of all the companies is very promising.
The salary is not very competitive compared with other companies for graduating students.
Compared with other internet companies like Baidu, Tencent, Netease, and Sogou, the salary is low, and the company's fame is not as strong as those mentioned above.
The annual leave is short, with only 7 days for the first year.
Lots of employees treat the CEO (Jack Ma) as God and show somewhat insane passion for him. I thought it was immature for a world-leading targeting company.
The management should give us more annual leave and pay more attention to the technology. The world is changing; B2B and C2C do not depend on sales-people anymore.
Build a [fame/name] among students in school. Alibaba Group is a company where we can learn leading technology and bring us a promising future. (I did not think Alibaba was a place to develop technical skills until senior management took time to persuade me to accept the offer).
