Great experience. The interviewer made it comfortable.
The first round was SQL-heavy. I grinded through all levels of SQL questions: easy, medium, and difficult. I cleared the first round, but later lost out in the AWS round.

Really great leadership principles

Pros: Good work-life harmony, unlike what I hear from many people on the outside.
Great leadership shown by all managers. A "principles" oriented company with a great focus on long-term vision.
Cons: It's an e-commerce firm. Holidays are when we make the most business. This is not really a con, though.

Pros: The only good thing is that the stocks you get will be good.
Cons: No new technology in the data engineering field. It's all about their own tools, which are of no use outside the company. There's very little design work, just modifying existing SQL or writing new SQL queries. There's no ETL, nor any good Hadoop-related tools the company has. Everything will be taken care of by SDEs, so there's no scope for DEs to learn. There's a lot of operations work.
