The interview was poorly structured. It was a telephone interview via AWS Chime, and then I was told to turn my camera on and go through a technical test with only two minutes before introductions.

The interviewer backtracked to introductions and rushed through Python and SQL questions without being able to check the code, as there was no compiler; it was written in plain text. This would have required longer than 20 minutes to get through just one of the questions, let alone the other three.

The Python exercise required me to write 26 lines of code with nested if statements to split a string into JSON format and add the split data into attributes. I was literally given only 10 minutes to do this on a plain text document without a compiler (an absolute shambles).

1. Get the top 3 selling items by month for each month.
2. Which customers bought only a single item?
3. Split this list of strings into JSON with JSON attributes.
