It was a phone screen, simple setup. I applied online and got an email from a recruiter.
Had a 30-minute recruiter call and scheduled the phone screen.
The phone screen was video-enabled. I was asked 3 coding questions: Python (1 medium) and SQL (2, recursive CTE and LeetCode hard).
They asked about data modeling design and I gave some basic solutions.
I didn't go to the next round, but it was a learning opportunity.
Questions
Python: Given two lists, combine and sort them into one list.
SQL: Recursive CTE to find the reporting manager chain (LeetCode problem).
