Process

  1. Online Assessment:

    • Two parts: HackerRank (two medium-level LeetCode-style questions) and a Workstyle assessment (a behavioral questionnaire for hypothetical work situations).
  2. Online Interview:

    • Three 1-hour back-to-back rounds. Each round included one part behavioral (answer in STAR format) and one part technical.

Questions

  1. Leetcode question: Trapping Rainwater.

  2. Design / OOP: Design classes and data structures for a restaurant that has multiple pizza types and a salad. Each item has dressings with specific prices and quantities. We want to be able to calculate the price of any menu item.

  3. General coding problem: You have a list of 10,000 product items and want to display 10 of those to the user every day they log in. How can we randomly choose 10 items with equal probability each day from the list? Write a function for that (this requires you to also come up with data structure requirements, such as whether the input list can be modified).
