HW Test and Validation Engineer Interview Experience - Seattle, Washington

Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The interview process was straightforward, but the recruiter and the hiring manager had no clear idea of what they wanted from me. The whole process seemed mechanical and forced, with generic behavioral questions that indicated a lack of preparation. I was asked a total of maybe three technical questions.

Most of the questions were bizarre situational questions that did not lead to any deeper understanding. I don't think the role was right for me, and it seemed increasingly boring as the process continued.

Questions

Shown a picture of a block system diagram and asked how I'd write tests for individual systems.

CPU, power, I/O, camera, microphone, etc.
