Pros: As a Junior SDE, I have the opportunity to continue pursuing my degree in college while also experiencing how computer science is used in the real world through Amazon. I love being able to learn about corporate culture, professional teamwork, and time management to accomplish all my goals while still being a college student. My favorite thing about working here is the culture: Amazon is an empowering company. They encourage you to think outside the box, make your ideas vocal, and push to make them a reality. This trust and responsibility that the company places in you allows you to take ownership of both your own and the company's development.

Cons: Amazon definitely pushes you to deliver results. While this is not necessarily a bad thing, it can lead to high stress and feeling lost in how to accomplish your tasks when you're blocked. Your team will assume you're fine unless you say otherwise, so the responsibility to communicate your needs and reach out for help falls completely on you.

Pros: - Amazing and understanding team. - Great opportunity to grow and learn. - Being part of a software dev team for a longer period than just a regular internship.

Cons: Sometimes it's hard to balance schoolwork and dev work during the quarter.

Pros: 1. Competitive Compensation: Amazon typically offers competitive salaries and benefits, including stock options (RSUs) and bonuses for eligible roles. 2. Career Growth Opportunities: The company encourages internal promotions and provides resources for skill development. Exposure to large-scale projects can enhance your resume.

Cons: 1. High Workload and Stress: The fast-paced, high-performance culture can lead to long hours and burnout. Employees often report intense pressure to meet targets and metrics. 2. Rigid Performance Metrics: The focus on KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and data-driven evaluations can sometimes feel impersonal or overly rigid.
