The main issues were regarding the recruiter and the hiring manager.
The recruiter literally sent me the wrong job. So, when the hiring manager asked me, "What do you know about the role?" I described the wrong job.
The hiring manager then explained to me what the job actually was. By total coincidence, I actually qualified more for that role than the one I had originally applied for.
Despite knowing that I had been told the wrong job, the manager then quizzed me on why I chose this job. After that, it sounded like he wasn't interested in me in the slightest.
I tried to save it, but he seemed to think that I came unprepared. He then admitted that he never looks at people's resumes because he had a bad experience way back when.
I guess that's technically fine, but it was apparent he wasn't prepared for the interview, as all of his questions could have been answered by looking at my resume.
They asked about my work history and how it applied to the role I was interviewing for.
