I had an informational interview with a recruiter via Amazon Chime to provide me with information on what the interview process would look like and how to prepare.
I then had a phone interview with one of the engineers on the team, also on Chime. I was asked two behavioral questions on their leadership principles and a few technical coding questions.
I then heard back from the recruiter and had another Chime meeting to discuss next steps. He verbally provided me with a 'study guide' on how to prepare for the interview, as it is pretty intensive.
The next step was a 'virtual onsite interview,' which was basically five virtual one-on-one interviews (still over Chime) spread throughout a day.
All of the people I spoke with were very nice. I had a chance to ask questions after every interview.
I heard back in 3-5 days, per Amazon policy, which was nice compared to the several months of waiting I've experienced with other companies.
I was asked many coding questions on how to process data as if from satellite telemetry.
Other questions included system design, satellite operations, and many behavioral questions on Amazon Leadership Principles.
