Cons: Frugality (few managers take this too seriously; they are ready to even starve employees who have to support midnight or noon launches). No perks in any sense, literally. * No lunch, no snacks (oh yeah, a banana only at the Seattle campus). As extras for being an Amazon employee, you would get 2% off Apple products (yes, that's 2%, like $20 for an iPhone of $1200) and for other brands too, but it depends on what you buy. Cons: No work-life balance. Easily fall for imposter syndrome.

Pros: The pay scale is good. Technical freedom is yours; use whatever you want, just the final product is needed.

Cons: More responsibility compared to any other similar role. Less clarity in your own role path. Less assistance from team members; however, this depends on which team you get.
