Pros: Amazon is tackling lots of interesting problems. Small teams are empowered to develop and implement solutions. I don't feel the 'must do it this way' top-down direction I have seen in other workplaces. Openness to staff moving between internal roles is great for career development and allows people to pursue new interests without having to quit and find another job. Company values are embedded into day-to-day work. It's fun to come to work, engage in solving challenging problems, and build the solutions.

Cons: If you're not confident in saying no, asking for the time you really need to get something done, or committing to only what you can actually deliver, you can easily over-commit yourself. Nobody will assume you're fully loaded. You need to manage that yourself.

Pros: Stock benefits. Amazing culture of putting the customer at the heart of everything. Progression is fast. Innovation.

Cons: Salaries less than other companies.

Pros: A good, whole experience, really.

Cons: Not really having time off to fly.
