Hi All,
This is an incident happening to me right now. I applied to a big tech company (FAANG) recently. I was called for an interview, and after the loop interview, they said I wasn't selected. However, since I have good knowledge of a specific skillset, they asked me to attend an interview for another position.
I received a call after two days saying they were ready to offer (on Friday). They said we would have an offer discussion on Monday. Monday morning, they stated the offer letter wasn't ready yet because finance team approval was still pending.
I emailed after two days with no response. After another four days (on Friday), they said they were on holidays and promised to send the details right away. However, I am writing this post with no response from them.
More about your way of thinking with experience.
