Process
I was contacted by an Amazon recruiter.
They sent me a link to prepare for the first interview with a manager.
About 10 days later, I had an interview with a Software Lead.
She went through a simple coding exercise that I did well.
However, I believe she did not choose me because I was looking for a role on the technical side and not managing people.
She was very polite and nice, and overall, I had a good experience with them.
Questions
It was simple object-oriented programming in C++.
Design and write some code for polymorphism: overloading, overriding.
Did you manage people in your previous role? Some questions about teamwork and leading projects.
