Senior Solution Architect Interview Experience - Santiago, Chile

Process

My interview process was unusual.

I applied in May and interviewed in August. I passed the interview stages (phone screen and behavioral interview), but the position was filled by an internal transfer before I completed the process. Consequently, I did not receive an offer.

The recruiter informed me I would be placed on standby and that I would be considered immediately for any future openings without a new interview. This turned out to be untrue.

Several positions opened in November. I applied for them and had to repeat the entire process, though I managed to skip the phone screening.

Leading up to the behavioral interview, the recruiters provided conflicting information about whether I would have an abbreviated process. This was quite confusing and frustrating.

Ultimately, I passed the interview loop again, received an offer, and accepted it.
