After an initial phone screen, I was invited to take a technical assessment. The technical assessment was 2 hours long and contained two coding problems, followed by a personality assessment. Being a student, I was not capable of solving the coding problems but was encouraged to pursue an internship instead.

I was asked about previous experiences with software development, why I wanted to work for Amazon, and what I was looking for.

It really felt like the recruiter was more interested in making sure that I would be happy in the role.

Overall, I was happy with the interview experience at Amazon, even though I wasn't offered a job.
