Pros: 1. You would be involved in decision-making for the team, irrespective of your job title.
2. Amazon follows the "Hire the Best" policy, so you would have an awesome work environment where you would learn and be inspired by your peers.
3. They provide really good incentives compared to other Tier-1 companies. Your team and manager would always support you.
4. They have awesome office infrastructure. The workspace is really cool, and every day you would have a lot of free snacks.
Cons: Amazon is highly recommended for people who really want to learn and grow.
Even Senior SDEs actively participate in projects and on-call routines.
If someone is looking for less work and a stable life, then perhaps Amazon is not the right choice for you.

Pros: I would say it was the best experience of my life.
I got to learn many good practices and techniques for efficient coding.
I was not exactly a Java developer, but I learned a lot about Java in this internship.
Cons: Smart people around, and you really have to prove yourself to get a return offer.
