I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks.

I interviewed for the SDE I role in Iași and completed four interview rounds. The first focused on linked lists and two-pointer techniques, with further discussion about graphs and dependencies. Despite some initial nerves, I found an optimal solution.

The behavioral round covered Amazon’s Leadership Principles, using examples from my hackathon experience and personal projects.

The object-oriented design round involved designing a system for datasets, rules, and alerts, including moving averages. This was the most challenging part for me, particularly structuring the classes and implementing the alert logic.

The final round included finding an odd-occurring element in an array, discussing hash maps and XOR, and a conversation about LLMs and handling hallucinations. I felt encouraged by the interactions during the coding and behavioral rounds, although I struggled with the design exercise.
