A recruiter contacted me by email.

I was given an online coding assessment, which I passed.

I was then invited to take a four-stage virtual on-site interview. The recruiter accommodated my request to push the on-site interview to a few months after the online assessment for preparation.

Questions

The online coding assessment covered standard data structures and algorithms.

The on-site assessment was a combination of data structures and algorithms, systems design, object-oriented design, and behavioral questions.

Pros: I've worked alongside some of the most brilliant people I've seen.

Cons: Everything that is done is driven by the promotion of someone: a manager, a skip-manager, TPM, PM, etc. Work/life balance is a thing only if you defend it with your teeth.

Pros: Learning is very high at Amazon, but stress can kill everything.
