Pros: Learned a lot. Possibility of rehire.

Cons: Busy team members, no word back yet for rehire.

Pros: The work assigned was designed to test if I can own a product delivery, and I loved it. It actually enhanced my personality.

Cons: Interns were too pressured, but I believe it was to test our limits.

Pros: The Amazon campus in Seattle is pretty cool, both the buildings themselves and the Seattle area in general. You get to work with a bunch of ridiculously smart people who can teach you a lot.

Cons: While other interns I knew enjoyed their projects, I didn't. Mine was a very standard "intern-y" project. I got to use a lot of internal Amazon tech, which was cool, but at the end of the day, I didn't feel like my work was meaningful. Also, the work/life balance isn't spectacular. While my team's philosophy was basically "work whatever hours you want as long as you get your work done," in practice, it tended to require me working well more than 40 hours a week. It seemed to be true for my other team members and other interns as well. Some weeks are better than others, of course, but there will be rough ones.
