Pros: There are many smart people working here, and you can work with the best in the industry. There is no doubt that Amazon tries to maintain a high quality in its products, and it's a great place to learn and innovate.
Cons: It's a hit-or-miss experience as an intern at Amazon. If you are able to have a good understanding with your mentor, the job becomes a lot easier.

Pros: - Lots of free stuff ($100 to the Amazon employee merchandise store, free Echo Show, Echo Dot, and Kindle Fire, free team lunches at Din Tai Fung, received 30 t-shirts for free to give to family and friends, concert with Lil Nas X and Katy Perry, free team sweater, free water bottle, free notebook, free backpack).
- Received machine learning education through Amazon's Machine Learning University.
- Learned a lot about AWS.
- Great teammates and manager!
Cons: Manager gave a very broad project: "create a tool for the team to resolve problems easier."
Did not receive as much mentorship as I would have liked, as my project was out of the scope of my team.

Pros: Interns get flexibility and full ownership of the project they are given for the internship.
Your work is usually shipped and hence (mostly) not throw-away work.
It is ensured one has all the equipment one needs for development before the job starts.
* Excellent compensation
* Excellent developers
Cons: • They need to provide interns with more swag items.
• The ownership principle acts as a con, as there is no spoon-feeding or basic feeding. Unless you go and ask, nobody will tell you.
• At times, it can get stressful with training and work.
• Inconsistency on projects and evaluation for different teams.
