The first step was an online assessment (OA) with medium-difficulty questions.
The second step was a "Day in the Life at Amazon" type assessment, where how you handle different situations as an SDE at Amazon is evaluated.
The third and final step was a live interview, lasting 45 minutes.
Overall, it was a terrible experience. The live interviewer barely spoke English, which prevented me from comprehending his questions and led me to not perform as well as I could have. The coding question was easy, but the interviewer kept asking me questions about it that I could not answer because I could not decipher what was being said. The behavioral section covered the Amazon Leadership Principles. You need to prepare stories ahead of time to do well.
The live interview asked about trees.
