Cons: 1. You will never know how to handle scale at the infra level, because everything is cloud-managed. 2. Mostly uses internal tools, so old employees are like gods there. 3. No one will help you there, even your teammates won't. This is because the manager there says: If you are helping your teammate with their task, you are wasting your N hours, so your task will get delayed, and how he/she will measure your colleague's performance. So, the strict rule is: Do Not Help Teammates. This just makes a mockery of the team concept itself. :) 4. You have to work for more than 10 hours, because according to Amazon's philosophy, you should be better than 50% of your teammates.
