Software Development Engineer (SDE) Interview Experience
Process
Initially, I received an online assessment (4 hours duration) for the Fungible SDEI FT position in June 2024. I interviewed in August 2024.
There were three virtual onsite interviews:
- Two technical coding interviews
- One behavioral interview (Amazon LPs)
All three interviews were conducted on the same day.
Questions
The first coding interview was unnecessarily and unexpectedly hard.
It was some variation of a LeetCode Hard question, specifically on the topic of Dynamic Programming, which is already more difficult than other topics.
The second coding interview was better, with an Object-Oriented design problem.
