Process

Round 1 – Behavioral (LP-focused)

They went deep into Amazon's Leadership Principles.

Questions included:

  • Tell me about a time you worked under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • What technical problem did you solve recently?
  • What tech did you learn and why?

I answered everything using the STAR format with real examples from my projects and internships.

🔹 Round 2 – Coding + Behavioral

45 minutes turned into 1 hour.

  • Got a LeetCode Hard-level problem and went through multiple optimizations and follow-ups.
  • Explained my thought process at every step: what, why, and trade-offs.

This round really tested clarity, communication, and stress handling.

🔹 Round 3 – Full Technical

It was all coding, starting with a BST problem and then adding changing requirements mid-solution.

Adaptability and structured thinking were key.
