Pros: Intelligent people, cutting-edge technology, interesting projects, and a strong sense of ownership given to the engineers.

Cons: Amazon moves incredibly fast as a company. I constantly feel that the team I am on is stretched too thinly; there is too much work to do for too few people in too short of a time. This structure makes it easy to burn out. Vesting structure for software engineers is sneaky; Amazon pays a significant sum of your total comp in RSU's (~30% for SDE 1), but the vast majority of it only vests at the end of your third and fourth years at the company. It's a mechanism designed to retain talent at the company. Admittedly, it's something that made me consider staying.

Pros: Very Good Perks and Opportunities

Cons: Nothing to specify, all good.

Pros: Good learning opportunity, good compensation, and it looks good on a resume.

Cons: Bad work-life balance, management doesn't care about you.
