I applied online. The process took 3 weeks.
The onsite loop consisted of three back-to-back technical interviews, and the process was exhausting and completely lacked basic human decency. The schedule was inhumane—there were zero breaks provided to eat, drink, or simply catch a breath.
During the sessions, one interviewer aggressively micromanaged my code, forcing her specific solution rather than evaluating my perfectly valid logic. Another interviewer gave a "trick" question, lost patience after barely two minutes, blurted out the hint, and was tense and dismissive for the rest of the time. When we moved on to the Amazon Leadership Principles questions, she was visibly impatient and constantly rushed me to move forward, even though I was properly using the STAR method and establishing the broader context first.
To top it off, the recruiter called to reject me in a rushed, awkward manner, and completely ghosted my follow-up email asking for basic professional feedback.
