An Amazon recruiter messaged me on LinkedIn and offered me the opportunity to apply. I submitted my application on amazon.jobs on August 4th, 2022. They then sent me an online coding test.
After the test, they said I did well and could proceed with the phone interview. It was actually conducted on Amazon Chime.
The interviewer asked some typical coding questions: one easy and one that was not so good.
Then I had an "on-site" interview with four developers and a behavioral interview.
The response took a little longer than expected. I think they were indeed considering my candidacy, but at the last moment, they chose another candidate. During the feedback session, they told me I was pretty good but they decided not to proceed.
On each interview, they were asking some coding question, akin to those on LeetCode, etc.
