The interview process consists of three stages:
Online Test: This stage includes two easy/medium coding tasks and covers both design and behavioral questions.
Engineer Call: A 30-minute session focusing on leadership principles, followed by a 30-minute session with a medium coding task.
Final Interview (The Loop): This is a full day of five 1-hour sessions. It includes two coding sections, one design section, one "bar riser" section, and one semi-random section (in this case, a fully-behavioral interview). Even the technical sections incorporate at least 30 minutes dedicated to Amazon Leadership Principles. Be prepared.
Overall, the interview sections left a very positive impression. Be ready to discuss extensively and have at least 3-5 prepared examples for the leadership principles. You will be asked at least two behavioral (leadership) questions in each section.
The only negative aspect so far is the silence from recruiters after the final interview. There have been no calls or emails, and it has been a month since the interview. Several follow-up emails to recruiters and inquiries on LinkedIn have gone unanswered.
