I was initially connected to one of the recruiters in January. At that time, the assessment and technical phone screening were completed, but the HR person ghosted me later on.
After that, I was approached again by an HR representative who gave me a virtual on-site interview. A total of four back-to-back interviews were conducted.
After the interviews, the HR person did not respond with proper results. When I inquired through a follow-up email, she started giving excuses, claiming she tried to call and no one responded, so she left a voicemail. In reality, I did not receive any call or voicemail from her or Amazon.
Worst interview experience ever!
1 LeetCode medium question. 2 object-oriented design questions with deep coding requirements. 1 scenario-based question requiring design and coding, which was impossible to solve within 30 minutes. The interviewer was also rude, and the expectations were too high for the SDE-I position.
