The process stretched over 60 days.

The recruiter contacted me and described the opportunity.

I had an initial screening call with the recruiter, where they asked about my previous roles, reasons for a job change, and expected salary.

This was followed by three rounds:

• Round 1: An online coding challenge with two LeetCode medium problems.
• Round 2: An online interview with a senior developer. I was asked to solve a problem in a live coding environment using a language of my choice. The focus was on data structures and algorithms knowledge, as there was no option to compile and run the code.
• Round 3 (The Loop): A four-hour process with four different interviewers, each for one hour. Half an hour was dedicated to Amazon Leadership Principles, and the other half to coding/system design questions. Questions focused on problem-solving skills, code readability, and knowledge of data structures and algorithms. Only one system design question was asked.

The result came after four business days.

Questions about the Leadership Principles were difficult because the interviewers probed deeply into specific situations. If a scenario didn't precisely match the desired Leadership Principle, they were not satisfied.
