Software Engineer New Grad Interview Experience - Seattle, Washington

Process

Three rounds of 1-hour interviews back-to-back.

Round 1: LeetCode problem (claimed to be a LeetCode problem, but I've never seen anything like it). The task was to solve a detection mechanism in an 8-sensor setup. Each sensor sends out a signal with a timestamp and a parameter. The system might receive signals in a random timeline. If, within a 6-second interval, three sensors send a parameter higher than a pre-defined value, a report should be generated.

Round 2: Behavioral questions (BQ), including two normal BQ questions and one interesting one.

Round 3: Cache Object-Oriented Design (OOD).

Questions

Describe a time you had to ask someone for help, but it turned out they helped nothing.
