Amazon interview process review, 3/5 stars:
Went through several rounds:
The process was fairly standard for a large tech company. Communication from the recruiter was decent overall, though there were a couple of points where things felt a bit slow.
The interviewers were professional and asked a mix of technical and behavioral questions, including some based on Amazon's leadership principles. The whole process took a few weeks from start to finish.
Overall it was a reasonable experience, similar to what I've heard from other big tech companies.
The following metrics were computed from 2,382 interview experiences for the Amazon Software Engineer role.
Amazon's interview process for their Software Engineer roles is extremely selective, failing the vast majority of engineers.
Candidates reported having very good feelings for Amazon's Software Engineer interview process.
